Privacy Policy
Effective October 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Statistics LLC (“SimsPlan,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit simsplan.com or contact us. SimsPlan is an independent authorized retailer of TV, internet, and home phone services in the United States, and an independent affiliate partner of Sky Mobile for visitors in the United Kingdom (our Sky Mobile page at simsplan.com/sky). By using our website or submitting a request, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, ZIP code, postcode or address, email, and details about the services you're interested in, when you call us or submit a form.
- Consent records: when you submit a callback request, we record that you checked the consent box, the exact consent language shown, a timestamp, the page URL, and (where available) technical data such as your IP address.
- Automatically collected: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring URLs, ad-click identifiers (such as Google's “gclid”), and whether you clicked one of our call buttons, collected via cookies and similar technologies as described in Cookies, Google Ads & Consent Mode.
How we use your information
- To contact you about the TV, internet, home phone, mobile, or security services you requested.
- To check availability and help you place an order with the provider you choose.
- To measure how our advertising performs, improve our website, and operate our business.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
Calls and texts (TCPA) — US visitors
If you provide your phone number and check the consent box, you authorize SimsPlan and its authorized partners to contact you at that number — including by automated technology, autodialer, prerecorded or artificial voice, and SMS/text messages — about relevant products and services, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency may vary. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text, asking an agent to remove you, or emailing us at the address below.
How we share information
- Service providers / carriers: we share the details needed to check availability and place your order with the provider(s) you select. For UK Sky Mobile orders, the details needed for your order are provided to Sky, which manages your contract and account under its own privacy notice.
- Advertising partners: Google receives information from our website when you visit and when you click a call button, so we can measure our Google Ads campaigns. See Cookies, Google Ads & Consent Mode.
- Vendors: we use trusted vendors (e.g., hosting, call handling) who process data on our behalf.
- Legal: we may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Cookies, Google Ads & Consent Mode
We use two kinds of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential: needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice. On our UK Sky Mobile page this includes a first-party cookie named
sp_consent, which stores whether you chose “Accept all” or “Essential only” for 180 days. - Advertising measurement (Google Ads): we use Google Ads conversion tracking (the Google tag, gtag.js) to learn when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to click a call button. Google may set cookies such as
_gcl_auand_gcl_awand receives information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the page you visited, the ad-click identifier, and the fact that a call button was clicked. We do not run Google Analytics.
UK Sky Mobile page — Google Consent Mode v2. On simsplan.com/sky, advertising and analytics storage are set to denied by default, before any Google tag loads. Until you click “Accept all” in the cookie banner, Google tags do not set advertising cookies: they send limited, cookieless signals (with ad-data redaction on, and ad-click information passed in page links instead of cookies), which Google may use to estimate conversions in aggregate. If you choose “Essential only,” advertising cookies stay off. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of that page, or by deleting cookies for simsplan.com in your browser.
US pages. On our US pages, the Google tag loads when you visit and may set the cookies described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and manage ad personalization in Google's My Ad Center.
To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices & rights (US)
Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing, including targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You can also opt out of marketing calls and texts as described above.
UK visitors (UK GDPR)
If you are in the United Kingdom, Statistics LLC is the controller of your personal information for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our contact details are below.
Lawful bases. We rely on:
- Consent — for advertising cookies and Google Ads measurement on our UK page (you can withdraw it at any time via Cookie settings), and for any marketing you have agreed to.
- Steps before entering into a contract — to answer your call, check coverage, and help you order the Sky Mobile plan or phone you choose.
- Legitimate interests — to run and secure our website, keep records of our conversations and orders, and improve our service. We balance these interests against your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we must keep or disclose information by law.
International transfers. We are based in the United States, so your information is processed in the US. Where our vendors (including Google) process UK personal data outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.
Your rights. You have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing (including the absolute right to object to direct marketing), to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing before you withdrew it. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below; we will respond within one month.
Complaints. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Data retention & security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (including consent records), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Your cookie choice on our UK page is kept for 180 days. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults (18+) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, with the updated effective date shown above.
